Wessobrunn-Forst (Germany), October 29, 2026 – Great interest at the Schröder Group booth: At this year’s EuroBLECH in Hannover, the company presented a new solution for efficient and flexible automated sheet metal processing: the MAK 4 Evolution UD folding machine with a gantry system for loading and unloading the machine in unmanned operation.
Although EuroBLECH overall appeared quieter than previous editions, Schröder Group was able to draw a positive conclusion. The clear crowd-puller was the solution for fully automated loading and unloading of folding machines equipped with the Advanced Handling System (AHS). This combination of a rotary unit with suction cups and an Up-and-Down folding beam enables folding programs to be carried out fully automatically. With the gantry system presented at the trade fair, featuring a suction frame for loading, unloading and positioning the sheets, unmanned production is now also possible.
“EuroBLECH 2026 once again showed how important automation is for many of our customers. The focus is above all on solutions that can be integrated sensi-bly and flexibly into existing production processes. The strong interest in our new gantry solution confirms that we are on the right track and encourages us to con-tinue along this path,” says Thomas Ostermair, Sales Director at Schröder Group
Folding for different requirements
The PowerBend Industrial UD 3200/6.0 and the PowerBend Professional 3200/3.0 also attracted considerable interest from trade fair visitors. While the PowerBend Industrial UD is designed particularly for processing heavier-gauge sheet metal, the PowerBend Professional stands out for its high level of flexibility when handling changing folding tasks.
The trade fair line-up was completed by the PDC Power-Duo-Cut NC 3200/3.0. During the demonstrations, the motorized guillotine shear impressed with precise cuts, motorized blade gap adjustment and pneumatic sheet support.
