Both companies have been cooperating for many years and are now pooling their competencies to further expand their market position in the German and international sheet metal forming market. With the acquisition of the tool manufacturer SMU, the Schr\u00f6der Group is expanding its know-how in the various areas of tool making. As with software development, the company is thus deepening its own value chain as part of its growth strategy, broadening its process know-how and being able to optimize developments in important additional components for the use of its machines.<\/p>\n<p>SMU&#8217;s specialist knowledge will be crucial when it comes to integrating and developing new machine tools as well as customer-specific tooling requirements. &#8220;Our goal is to develop solutions that will enable Schr\u00f6der Group customers to work even more successfully and efficiently in the long term and sustainably,&#8221; says Franz Schr\u00f6der. With the acquisition of SMU GmbH, the Schr\u00f6der Group welcomes 24 new employees.
